6.2 – Mystical: June Mimosa & Wonderment

I was tired when I shot today’s photo and didn’t feel very confident that I had captured what I see when I glimpse this building swamped by vines and trees and the blooming mimosas.  Every summer the mimosas make this one of favorite places to watch evolve.

I shot this building back in January when the light was flat and dusk had almost obliterated any contrast.  Today, the light was too bright, too harsh, so maybe the third time’s the charm?

Yet, as uninspired as I was when I shot today, I felt a little of the feeling in the frames as I was processing them.

Truly beautiful! I love the brightness of the light on the scene. To me, the brightness of the light adds a cheeriness and the mimosa brings a happiness to the print. They really are blooming so gorgeous this year! This print reminds me of a happy place you talked of in an earlier posts.

Aesthetically pleasing and thereful distasteful, but there are redeeming qualities.

The dilapidated building, for example, exemplifies the decadence of failure. The mimosa blooms (to any aware observer) epitomize the success which may spring from said failure, if the lesson is properly learned by the individual responsible (symbolized by the larger building on the left.)

The little weeds in front are obviously the result of poor dietary habits during the experience which ended in failure.

      When types Snooten
      Instead of sounding intelligent,
The sound is as if he’s hooting.

      Bwahahahaha

So the sadness does please you? *bow*

Professor Snooten ridicules those who are too shallow to understand his genius.
