7.10 – Cemetery Collections

One day in the local cemetery I noticed that a lot of the plots have a lot of decorations and other oddities.  I stopped tonight to photograph this statue that has recently been illuminated by solar lights.  Driving by and seeing this blue-lit statuary glowing out of the darkness is a little eerie.

After the twilight cemetery stop, I was visiting my grandmother when she pulled one of the reddest, sweetest watermelons out of the refrigerator.  Yummy!  I love it when my grandmother(s) feed me.

    Beautiful! Great shot!

In Japan, they have tombstones where you can record peoples voices, so when you go to visit, they talk to you. Also holographic projections.

So I’m gonna go ahead and record my message:

    “Stop stepping on me.”

Behind the times, Figgy. I’m thinking I should want a barcode so that you can scan it with the barcode app on the iPhone (mine will not be Droid compatible), and it’ll have an app of my life to upload. You know – videos, timeline, photography galleries, etc. ;)

Wow, talk about creepy. I love the whole ‘ghostly’ feel about this picture.

Thank you, MRN. :) It’s so creepy driving by and seeing it in with the surrounding darkness in your peripheral vision.
